From the General Overseer
10 Commandment At times it is good for us to be reminded that our brothers and sisters are representing us as they carry the gospel in lands where Christianity is not favored. I received this brief email from Bishop Zebua of Indonesia, which is the largest Muslim nation in the world. As you read this please join in prayer with Bishop Zebua and his leaders for clearance and safety to hold their convention in peace.
"Dear friends,
Greetings in a wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I just received a short message this morning (August 27) from the National Convention Task Force informing me that yesterday there were meetings in 50 mosques around the convention area to object to our national convention coming soon.
Today, the local authorities of the government will call the Task Force to have a meeting to talk about it. This email is to inform you of this meeting and to ask for prayer. For your information, in Indonesia this month is the 40 days FASTING MONTH for Muslims. Please pray for this matter. God bless."

Every problem is a character-building opportunity, & the more difficult
it is, the greater the potential for building spiritual muscle & moral fiber.
Paul said, "We know that these troubles produce patience. & patience
produces character" (Romans 5:3 - 4 NCV) What happens outwardly in
your life is not as important as what happens inside you. Your
circumstances are temporary, but your character will last forever.

So You're a Leader - Inspire Others
As leaders, we have two options: we can inspire others or injure others.
When we inspire, we cause others to strive to be their best.
When we injure, we cause others to never be their best.
When we inspire, we listen to what others have to say.
When we injure, we force others to listen to us.
When we inspire, we do whatever we can to serve others.
When we injure, we see others only as people that can serve us.
So you are a leader? Which are you doing? Inspiring or injuring?
When we inspire, we cause others to strive to be their best.
When we injure, we cause others to never be their best.

When we injure, we force others to listen to us.

Death Notice
Many of you may have heard that Sis. Glennis (Jean) Gunter went to be with the Lord this morning. Many remember her as being part of the Davenport Sisters that used to sing at churches and district meetings some years ago. We are sadden to hear this news but we can also rejoice because this morning she received her blessing in Heaven. As of this writing funeral arrangements have not been made, I will make them available tomorrow. Hoods Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements please keep Kenny and the Family in your prayers.
